Why plant a church?
God’s heart is for all people to love and follow Him. Yet, over 50% of New Castle County does not claim any religious affiliation at all. In addition, while young adults are spiritually sensitive, they are increasingly missing in many churches. The result- the United States has more secular, unchurched people than most nations in the world!
Church plants play a critical role. Studies show new churches grow faster, connect with more people, and develop leaders more quickly; and they do all this for the least amount of money.
Jesus said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.” Matthew 9:37 (NIV)
Prayer Support
Reaching people who are not connected with any ministry requires great amounts of energy, time, resources and spiritual commitment. We can not achieve this goal without your prayer support. Financial Support
Reaching people who are not following Christ and/or those who have had little or negative experience with churches requires financial support from the larger Christian community. Developing a consistent giving-base takes time. However, with your support we can impact increasing numbers of people.
